What Does Norton Clean For Mac Do
Start Norton.
If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.
In the Norton main window, click Clean.
Click Run now or Start.
If Norton Clean prompts you to open the Photos and iTunes apps, click Open.
In the Overview window, in the Similar row and Duplicate rows, click Review, select the files that you want to remove, and then click Done.
Similar means two files appear to be identical, although they may have slight differences like different file names. Duplicate means the files are identical.
Click Clean to move the files that you selected to the trash.
